Today we finished planting. In our large field garden we have about 50 rows of corn, squash and beans (assorted varieties). We planted via the native "three sisters" planting method. We have planting via this method for three years now. It works well.
We also irrigated again today. Here are photos of the wier and channel box and canal from which we receive the water. The canal comes from the Utah Lake in Utah County. The wier at the canal has to be "turned on" (the gate lifted) for the water to flow from the canal. The directional gate has to be adjusted to come our way at the channel box (along the water path).
